Phoenix Translations has been represented at a record number of national and regional conferences during the 2008 year. Our conference schedule started with the INTERPHEX and PharmaMedDevice Show held in Philadelphia on March 25-28. Deborah K Wright, CEO, and Joe Gorman, Director of Sales, enjoyed the opportunity to meet with medical and pharmaceutical industry leaders.
As a woman owned and operated company, Phoenix recently joined the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and attended the regional conference in Arlington, Texas on April 8-9.
Later in April, Deborah Wright and Joe Gorman represented Phoenix at the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) held in Boston, MA. The event afforded them the opportunity to expand our presence in the area of clinical research.
In May, Joe Gorman, and Chris Lines, our Chief Editor, attended the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) held in Houston, Texas.
Phoenix Translations had a very busy June with two national conferences. Phoenix was represented by Joe Gorman, Director of Sales, and Sharon Quincy, Director of Marketing, at the 2008 Special Libraries Association (SLA) Conference which was held in Denver on June 15-18. Then Joe Gorman was joined by Chris Lines, our Chief Editor, in Boston for the 44th Annual Drug Information Association (DIA) Conference on June 22-26. Both conferences were well attended and allowed Phoenix to meet with clients and develop new relationships in both the legal and medical research arenas.
July was another busy month with Ivane Nielsen, our Translation Coordinator, attending the ATA-TCD Conference held in Denver on July 17-20. Then our Chief Operating Officer, Mari Infante, represented Phoenix at the 33rd National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) Conference in Oklahoma City on July 30-August 2.
Joe Gorman was again in Boston on September 14-17 representing Phoenix at the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) Conference. The RAPS Conference was an excellent opportunity for us to increase our presence in the regulatory sector of the pharmaceutical and biomedical industries.
